(Yes, that is a picture of a donut burger.)
Self-proclaimed as serving the tastiest burgers in Columbus, Thurman's does not disappoint. This small cafe/dive bar in German Village is best known for the Thurmanator, which has been featured in the TV show Man v. Food. But don't feel like you need to go big or go home. The others burgers in the menu are just as tasty!
Often described as a "literary labyrinth" due to its maze-like 32 rooms of books connected by narrow passageways and staircases, The Book Loft is a cool library to visit in German Village.
Another great brunch spot! Katalina's is a made-from-scratch, Latino-inspired cafe with locally-sourced ingredients that will get you hooked. Our go-to order is two Latina sandwiches and an order of the Pancake Balls with either Dulce de Leche or Pumpkin-Apple Butter filling.
Mikey’s pizza—our jam! Whether it’s pepperoni or the weekly flavor, you cannot go wrong with it. Plus, they cozy up next to bars and breweries, so you’re in for a good time. Cheers to pizza adventures!
Nothing fancy, just wings! Jack hyped up Roosters so much before moving to Columbus and, unlike other things Jack has hyped up, Roosters did live up to the hype. Their slogan is accurate — it's a fun, casual joint with tasty, fairly-priced wings. It became one of our traditions to go to Roosters every Friday night after work for date night.
All of the Columbus Metro Parks have great walking trails for all skill levels! Weather-permitting, going on a walk in any of the parks is one of our go-to activities.
